LeBron James Jr. Pokes Fun At Cavs Rookie Darius Garland On Instagram

Being the son of King James is sure a thing, and Bronny seems to enjoy all the benefits that come with it. This time Bronny got into a thing with Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Darius Garland. Yes, we know they are friends, but Bronny’s comment got us confused.

Garland posted a photo of himself and fellow Cavaliers rookie Kevin Porter Jr.

“Hey IG,” he wrote.

Bronny recognized the phrase, and had a perfect reaction to it. He wrote, “I see how it is stealing captions.” We remember that Bronny used this caption to announce his presence on Instagram.

Hey IG??

Will the king stand by his son’s side? This is just a children’s play, and LeBron will probably stay out of it. But, he won’t stay out of Bronny’s career.

Expect a kid that will play for his teammates,” he wrote recently. “Will work hard, pay his dues and when his number is called he’ll make mistakes like any kid but will be ready and coached very well. Someone who doesn’t care about rankings cause the only thing that matters is his team success.”

LeBron is a proud dad, and he believes that Bronny will develop into a big star.

“My kid has his own personality, he has his own DNA. We share the same name but he has his own path,” he said. “But it was cool when he came downstairs the other day and showed me that he was wearing 23 and then my youngest son came to me and showed me that he was wearing 6.

“It’s been a treat to watch, being a parent and seeing my son grow as a basketball player. But not only that, being a young man who he is today; the kid will be 14 soon. Just seeing him grow and grow and grow to become who he is today has been a treat. I think from the burden of him having the name itself, I think him understanding that just go out and just play the game and have fun and play for your teammates and give it all you’ve got. You play hard, you play smart and have fun, and let everything else take care of itself. The one thing that I have is the luxury of knowing everything that he can expect.”
