Caesars Sportsbook Releases Projected Season-Win Totals

The offseason is close to the end and most NBA teams have filled up their rosters for the next season.

On Thursday, the Caesars Sportsbook released their updated win totals for the 2019-20 NBA season. The team that occupied the first place was the Milwaukee Bucks with 57 projected wins. In addition, the forecast for the Los Angeles Clippers is 55.5 wins. Six other teams are projected to win at least 50 games.

Last season, the Bucks won an NBA-best 60 games. They advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals where they ultimately lost to the eventual NBA champion Toronto Raptors.

Milwaukee’s roster has had some changes, with Malcolm Brogdon and Nikola Mirotic no longer being on the team. However, the team has been updated with sharpshooting guard Wesley Matthews and veteran big man Robin Lopez as potential replacements. In addition, Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton also signed new contracts.

The Clippers are the team that’s been under the spotlight the most following the impressive offseason. Los Angeles was able to land Kawhi Leonard after he helped the Raptors win their first NBA title in franchise history. The Clippers also managed to acquire Paul George in a massive blockbuster trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder to pair with Leonard.

While the Bucks and Clippers are expected to be at the top of the charts for the next season, the Philadelphia 76ers aren’t too far behind as Caesars Sportsbook is projecting 54.5 wins for the Eastern Conference powerhouse. Philadelphia had made some big decisions this offseason, with Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris both being free agent.

The Sixers re-signed Harris to a five-year maximum contract and exchanged Butler for Josh Richardson. In addition, Philadelphia landed veteran Al Horford to pair with superstar center Joel Embiid.

The Utah Jazz also have a decent forecast and are projected to win 52.5 games. Over the summer, the team acquired guards Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic to boost their roster.
