Colin Cowherd Claims LeBron James Influences Kevin Durant’s NBA Decision-Making (Video)

LeBron James has the biggest influence in the NBA, and Colin Cowherd believes that Kevin Durant follows his example.

We all know that many players, coaches, general managers and team owners respect LeBron’s opinion. Well, let’s just say that the star knows how to rock the NBA. It all started when LeBron joined the Miami Heat. Everything changed, and nothing is the same again.

LeBron is the greatest player of all time, and has power on and off the field. His influence affects the decisions many players make. Is Durant one of them?

According to Cowherd, Durant’s decision to join the Brooklyn Nets is yet another “LeBron-esque” move.

Durant’s decisions are pretty similar to those of LeBron. Just take a look at his latest move.

In 2010, LeBron had a press conference to announce his decision to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and join the Heat. He won two championships and two MVP awards in Miami. Durant held a press conference, too. He left the OKC and joined the Golden State Warriors. Durant won two championships and two MPVs. Both players became villains within the NBA.

Did you notice that Kawhi Leonard defeated both LeBron and Durant in their effort to win a third title. LeBron left the Cavs to join the Lakers. Durant didn’t go back home, but he left the Warriors.

There’s nothing wrong in trying to imitate an awesome person. Cowherd likes LeBron, and keeps saying he is the best. Will he ever use the same words for Durant?

“I was thinking of who are the top ten players in the NBA next year and you know who I have at no. 1? It’s LeBron James. I know y’all love Kawhi but he’s a better ball handler than Kawhi, a bigger athlete than Kawhi, he’s a better rebounder than Kawhi, he’s a better passer than Kawhi, he’ll be more rested than Kawhi, and I don’t think Kawhi has LeBron’s leadership qualities. Also, now LeBron has Anthony Davis right next to him. Kawhi is a very good second best player in the league but he’s going to take 20 games off. LeBron is rested and won’t take 20-25 games off.”
