Draymond Green Spotted Alongside LeBron James On Set of ‘Space Jam’ Sequel

The filming of Space Jam 2 is already happening, and LeBron James is busy doing some shots. But, he isn’t alone on set. It turns out that he did some workout with Draymond Green, Anthony Davis and Damian Lillard.

LeBron will be joined by Davis, Lillard and Klay Thompson in the sequel. Green wasn’t mentioned as part of the team, but it looks like he is in.

TMZ Sports has already posted leaked footage of LeBron, Davis, Lillard and a few other players warming up on an indoor basketball court in Los Angeles. Green was wearing his No. 23 during workouts. Although he wasn’t reported to take part in the filming, TMZ revealed that these warm-ups are related to a scene set at an All-Star Game. However, they did note that players have also “been hooping’ together” in between production around Los Angeles.

Green isn’t listed on the “Space Jam” sequel cast. Well, LeBron is the only NBA player officially announced as part of the film. Davis, Lillard, WNBA star Diana Taurasi and Thompson have been confirmed as LeBron’s lead co-stars in the sequel of Michael Jordan’s 1996 cult classic.

LeBron wanted to add more players to the cast, but some of them turned down the offer. They all had different reasons to do that. Stephen Curry revealed that his schedule doesn’t allow for him to join LeBron. James Harden and Kevin Durant are out, too. We believe this has something to do with their sneaker contracts. 2019 MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo declined his invitation to join the film in April. He wasn’t into “extra drama.”

LeBron is more than excited to start off the project. He’s been looking forward to the filming of Space Jam 2, and despite all the criticism, he is super thrilled and excited.

“Man this really just hit me!” he wrote on Twitter. “I’m really shooting Space Jam 2!! This is so surreal and doesn’t even make sense to me! Where I come from man and what I saw growing up this doesn’t add up to me! I’m truly grateful and beyond blessed. This is CRAZINESS.”

Keep up the good job!
