Ex-NBA Star Baron Davis Catch Pass From Tom Brady, Cross Off Bucket List Item
Ex-NBA star Baron Davis crossed off an item of his bucket list, and it involves Tom Brady.
Davis hasn’t played in the league since the 2011-12, but he is still an awesome athlete.
The former NBA star crossed an item off his bucket list by catching a pass from the Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. That’s what most athletes and fans dream off, right? Davis shared a video of the moment, and he sure got our attention.
Of course, Davis was a little slow on the route but had excellent hands to haul in the pass from the GOAT. Brady did an incredible job during the offseason, and had enough time to practice with his teammates, including Julian Edelman, N’Keal Harry and even Josh Gordon. His fan will see him back in Foxboro on July 25, and the team’s training camp will take place at Gillette Stadium.
Davis accompanied the Golden State Warriors through their championship run. He felt really nostalgic about his playing days with the Warriors.
“Nothing but endless memories,” Davis said. “My love and affinity for the fans, even when I come back and I’m not playing, their energy and spirit makes me feel like I could go back out there and play.”
Davis is a Golden State legend and a two-time NBA All-Star. He wasn’t alongside his team for Game 6 and the send-off for the Oracle Arena, but his energy was there. The team has great importance for him, and Davis is also aware of the importance of the Oracle Arena in the community.
“It’s going to be bittersweet for everybody in the Bay Area,” Davis said. “But I’m just so happy that the Warriors were able to win those championships.”
Davis was really supportive throughout the championship run, but the Warriors couldn’t defeat the Toronto Raptors.
“Tonight, you know, this is decision making time, we need a ‘Dubs’ victory so we can close out Oracle the right way,” Davis said.
It’s always great when two athletes meet on the field, right? Tom Brady respects his game and other athletes do the same thing. Brady loves sharing the field with great talents.
