Instagram Users Are Freaking out Over Potential Gronk Retirement Comment to Drew Brees

Rob Gronkowski is making questions these days, and let’s just say that he fueled the rumors regarding his return. The former Patriots tight end decided to call it career this offseason, but the Patriots nation isn’t really convinced that he will stay retired for a long time. Now we have this video of Gronk and Drew Brees, and we are more than positive about the tight end’s return.

It seems like Gronk told Brees that he’s “coming back.” Patriots fans went crazy!

Well, there’s also a possibility that Gronk and Brees talked about something else. We don’t have much information regarding the background of the conversation, and Gronk doesn’t really talk about his retirement.

One thing stands for sure, he likes messing with people, and we will have to wait until September to see if this speculation is true.

“I’ve got that question many times,” Gronk said at the Billboard Music Awards. “I mess with people, I say ‘fake retired’ to half the people, I say I’m coming back next week, but yes, I’m actually retired. But I like to mess around, sometimes tell people I’m really not.

“You never know, if you mess around that much about it, I might convince myself [to return]. I kind of like [retirement] right now, I’m resting, recovering, I’m feeling good. It’s all going good.”

He talked to Rich Eisen, and made us believe that he likes his time off.

“Just been relaxing, traveling, seeing the family, just enjoying myself,” Gronk said. “You want to know something? I never had an August off in my life. So, it’s gonna be a little different. That’s when it’s gonna start really seeing the change is when that comes around in August when I’m not in training camp. I might not know what to do with myself.”

Things won’t be really easy for him once the regular season starts. Gronk is used to taking action, and he is having a lot of free time now. Maybe he will change his mind, who knows…

The Patriots Training camp will start in less than two weeks, and Tom Brady is ready to go.
