Jordan Bell Thanks The Warriors In A Heartfelt Instagram Post

Jordan Bell didn’t spend too much time with the Golden State Warriors. The team drafted him in the second round of the 2016 NBA Draft, and many thought that he’d stay around for a while.

However, it didn’t work. He had up-and-down play and inconsistent minutes. The team was frustrated, and there was no room for his immaturity and lack of professionalism.

When the Warriors did an effort to get D’Angelo Russell, they had to give up on Bell. He was sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves and will probably receive a huge opportunity and steady minutes.

Bell took to his Instagram account to thank the franchise, the Bay Area community and Warriors fans for his time in the Golden State.

“My time with the Golden State Warriors was probably one of the biggest chapters of my life thus far. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I had to be apart of this organization. I couldn’t have asked for a better team (teammates, front office, and everyone in between). Thank you! To the YAY AREA, thank you for showing me nothing but love during my time in the Bay. As I begin my new chapter, I will never forget my time here. Thank you Dubnation!”

Bell played in 125 regular season games with the Warriors, and averaged 3.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. He appeared in 32 postseason games and had some brilliant moments.

The biggest Warriors highlight will be his performance at the 2018 championship parade in Oakland.

In an interview with the Bay Area News Group, Bell said that head coach Ryan Saunders brought him in Minnesota.

“He was telling me the kind of player he thinks I can be,” Bell told Mark Medina in a phone interview. “When a head coach tells you stuff like that, it makes you feel good to be wanted. I think we can do something special over there, especially with the young coach that we have.”

The Warriors made a lot of changes, and their roster is full of new names. Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala are out, and Klay Thompson is expected to miss the entire season.
