Julian Edelman Calls Out Adrian Wojnarowski Amid Frenzied NBA Offseason

Adrian Wojnarowski is a decent reporter, but even decent reporters make mistakes. What does Julian Edelman say about this?

The New England Patriots star took to Twitter on Friday night to call out Woj for making a big mistake.

We all know that Edelman is a huge NBA fan, and he really supports the Boston Celtics so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he has much to say about the wild offseason. Edelman is sure happy that Boston added star point guard Kemba Walker who is having No. 8.

There’s an ongoing debate regarding Edelman and his Hall of Fame future. Pro Football Focus made a list of players that are likely to make their Hall of Fame. Tom Brady was listed as a Hall of Famer if he retired now. Devin McCourty is also added to the list, and Edelman will still have to add to his resume.

Edelman wasn’t really successful in the regular season, but his playoff performance was incredible. He had 115 receptions, 1,412 yards and five touchdowns. He also has three Super Bowl wins and a Super Bowl MVP award.

Edelman is behind Jerry Rice in postseason receptions and receiving yards. He is tied with Michael Irvin for second-most playoffs games with 100 or more yards.

“Edelman’s postseason heroics this past season generated some buzz over whether or not he was deserving of a spot in the Hall of Fame when he called it a career. To be fair, no wide receiver has come close to the production that Edelman has put up in the postseason in the PFF era. His 115 postseason receptions, 1,412 receiving yards and 79 first downs receiving are easily the most of any playoff receiver since 2006. However, Edelman simply hasn’t been a true top-flight wide receiver at any point in his career. The highest overall grade of his career came back in 2015 at 83.7 overall, but even that just ranked 16th out of 121 qualifying wideouts.”

When it comes to the regular season, there are a lot of reasons for us to say that he doesn’t belong to the Hall of Fame. However, his postseason is golden, and that changes everything.
