Logan Ryan Sums Up Tom Brady’s Longevity With One Instagram Comment

Would you say that Tom Brady is fine wine? Well, former Patriot and current Tennessee Titans cornerback Logan Ryan says he is.

Brady won’t make a step back in near future. His absurd longevity is a common topic these days.

Brady and Ryan will soon hit the field together. The Titans will have a few joint practices in Nashville.

Ryan isn’t the only player to admire Brady. Brady’s teammate, Ben Watson, has nothing but words of praise for TB12.

“I’m going to listen to everything he does,” he said. “I’m 38 — not quite where he is — but all the tips that he does, I need to do the same thing. I gotta stay on the field too.

“Even before we got out here, in the locker room he was like ‘It’s gonna be a good day.’ He had an excitement about going out and playing football, going out and competing, doing his craft. For me watching that, that’s contagious. It’s not only contagious for me, it’s contagious for all the guys in the locker room to see that there’s a guy at his level that still enjoys doing it after all these years.

“People talk about money, people talk about fame, he enjoys competing. He enjoys winning. Anybody that’s good at their job, doing their job, there has to be something outside of the external that you enjoy doing to keep you going for that long at that level.”

Brady will enter his 20th NFL season.

“As is the norm, Patriots quarterbacks and players recovering from injuries are among those who report for training camp earlier than the regular veteran reporting date (July 24),” ESPN’s Mike Reiss writes. “So that essentially means this is the final weekend for Brady to fill the tank with family/personal time before he begins the grind of his 20th season. That is how Brady has described his approach over the past two offseasons, which he believes allows him to be his best self in attacking all the demands of a football season. It worked well for him in 2018, and now with his 42nd birthday approaching Aug. 3, I can already envision his first motivational Instagram post/tweet as he makes his way to Gillette Stadium next week as part of the early reporting group. Those close to him describe him as being as excited as ever.”
