Steph Curry Recalls Nasty Story Of Muscle Contraction After NBA Finals Loss

In a sneak preview for the finale of his Facebook series “Stephen vs. The Game,” Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry shared a video of a muscle contraction he suffered after Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.

The video shows Curry walking into his house with a very noticeable limp, and then after sitting in a chair receiving medical attention on his quad.

“Oh my god, this one is way bigger!,” an onlooker can be heard saying while pointing at Curry’s leg.

“It’s his muscle contracting,” another person comments.

A few weeks after the Finals, Curry said he had a “team” of family and friends over after Game 6 to reflect on the season.

“There is something to your body just, ya know, kinda letting go,” Curry says in his Facebook series. “And the way that my leg reacted was kind of a sign that it was over. So it was time for the summer.”

Curry also spoke about his emotions after his team lost the NBA Finals for the first time since 2016.

“There’s a lot of different things that you kinda think about,” he said. “‘I wish I would have made that shot’ or ‘I wish we would have won either Game 3 or 4 at home and made it a different series,’ but at the end of the day I know I gave it my best shot and it just didn’t work out. I never cheat the game. I give everything I have to it. And I understand that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.”

The final episode of “Stephen vs. The Game” will go live Monday night on Facebook Watch.
