Tom Brady Fires Back At ‘Madden’ For Chirping Him With High-Five Snub

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wasn’t happy with the speed rating Madden gave him, and decided to post a video evidence to prove them wrong. The video game’s official Twitter account posted a clip of Brady’s teammates blowing him off for a high five which is a reference to a now-famous clip of TB12 unsuccessfully searching for a high five.

Brady had the perfect response in his Instagram story. The Patriots quarterback was probably referring to players who have bad seasons or get injured after being Madden’s cover athlete. TB12 was on the Madden 18 cover and played really good.

Critics used Madden’s speed rating for Brady to open the good ol’ topic about the alleged drop in his performance. There’s no such thing, of course, but Patriots haters approved Brady’s overall rating of 96 and the speed rating of 60.

So, Brady submitted his “evidence.”

“Submitting new evidence to be considered for my Madden NFL speed rating. You can’t photoshop a video,” the quarterback wrote.

Maybe critics should stop using every opportunity to criticize Brady. Maybe they should talk to former NFL executive Mike Tannenbaum. According to Tannenbaum, Brady is better than Mahomes and pretty much anyone in his group.

“For me, it would be Tom Brady. Being in the AFC East for as long as I have, between the Jets and the Dolphins, every year we were like, ‘Wow, this is going to be it for Tom. He’s getting older. This has got to be the year. This has to be the year.’ And it’s remarkable. He’s gotten better,” Tannenbaum said. “He’s so smart. He knows where he’s going with the ball often before the ball’s ever snapped, so it’s hard to get to him because he gets rid of it so quickly. It’s really remarkable that he’s actually gotten better in the back half of his career from the first half. “Unfortunately, I’ve admired it to my detriment, but he really deserves a lot of credit.”

It’s all fun and games until haters start trashing Brady’s greatness. He helped the team win six Super Bowls, and won’t retire until he wins a few more.
