Tom Brady Miraculously Beats His NFL Combine 40-Yard Dash Time at 41 Years Old (Video)

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the greatest of all time. You know what’s best about his game? It gets better every season. People like Max Kellerman keep saying that Brady will experience a decline in his performance, but none of this is true. Brady helped the team win their sixth Super Bowl, and he plans to play until 45.

In a recent video, Brady ran his 40 time at 5.17. Brady entered the NFL running 5.28 at the 2000 combine. His game has changed a lot since then, and yes, he is better than ever.

TB12 was selected as the 199th overall pick. Totally overlooked.

Former Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum went on ESPN’s NFL Live to talk about the NFL Draft, and he also mentioned Brady.

“Actually I was in the draft room, I’ll never forget it,” Tannenbaum said. “We had four first-round picks in 2000 and we took Chad Pennington with the third of the four picks. And in the third round that year, this is remarkable — Bill Walsh drafts Giovanni Carmazzi of Hostra University, which was right across from the Jets facility and we’re like, ‘Oh my God, we blew it.’ Bill Walsh, this quarterback whisperer, takes Carmazzi, who’s across the street, in the third round. And we’re like, ‘Oh man. We just blew it.’ And then in the sixth round, some guy named Tom Brady went with the 199th pick.”

What keeps Brady this strong and dedicated?

“I just love it and I love playing. Like I said, many of those things are still the same. I loved playing then, I still love playing now. I don’t take anything for granted, I really don’t. I enjoy it. I think we all work hard at it but to get to this point is really exceptional. I’m proud of the guys for making the commitment and it’s certainly not easy. I think everyone at this point is tired and worn down but at the same time, you have one of the great opportunities in your life. This is a memory you’ll have forever and I really hope we can go out and take advantage of it. The Rams have worked equally as hard. They’ve got a great team. They do well in all phases just like all the teams we’ve played in this game. It’s a very difficult game to win. I’m excited for it. I’m going to try to get as much rest as I can and try to go out and play our best game of the year when we need it the most.”
