Watch: LeBron James Teases Tune Squad Jersey Reveal on Instagram From Set of ‘Space Jam 2’

If you’ve followed LeBron James’ social media activities the past couple years then you definitely know what is his favorite day of the week. Taco Tuesday is a favorite tradition in the James household.

King James has been taking the internet by storm every single Tuesday with his videos that are always full of dad energy. Last week the family had new Lakers teammates Anthony Davis over to celebrate Taco Tuesday by shouting “TAAACCOOO TUEESSDAYYY” over a dinner table of tacos.

This week James delivered a gift for Space Jam fans. The three-time NBA champion gave a brief look at the the Space Jam 2 jerseys.

James shot the video while on set of the sequel saying he wished he could show the whole jersey, but for now fans just get to see a few of the colors.

“Ya’ll I’m on Space Jam right now, shooting,” the L.A. Laker told fans while standing in front of a green screen and wearing a towel to cover up his jersey. “And ya’ll wish I would show you the whole uniform but I can’t.”

In the sneak peak he shows a teal jersey with an orange stripe around the neck. No news on how the logo will look and how it will differ from the original Tune Squad Space Jam uniform.

People quickly compared the little bit of the jersey James showed to the 1996 NBA All-Star jerseys.

James has previously shared some looks at the production but this is the first time fans have seen him in costume.

“The Space Jam collaboration is so much more than just me and the Looney Tunes getting together and doing this movie,” James told The Hollywood Reporter last year, explaining why his love for Coogler’s Black Panther influenced his desire to have him involved with this project. “It’s so much bigger. I’d just love for kids to understand how empowered they can feel and how empowered they can be if they don’t just give up on their dreams. And I think Ryan did that for a lot of people.”
