Watch: Nate Burleson Rips Jason Whitlock Over Recent LeBron James Take

Random people and bored-out-of-their-minds media personalities continue to criticize LeBron James‘ behavior at his son’s AAU basketball games. Jason Whitlock was among the loudest, telling him to just sit down and watch the game.

“LeBron is making a spectacle of himself – a circus of his son’s early playing days and using his son’s games as yet another platform to build the LeBron social media brand. It’s inappropriate. It points to how much fame has inevitably changed LeBron over the last decade. Fame is a drug more potent and dangerous than cocaine,” said Whitlock.

Nate Burleson found that response so pathetic that he felt compelled to respond to it.

Nate Burleson also took the opportunity to highlight how James’ behavior is not only acceptable, but a great show of pride for his own son. According to him, James is not being disrespectful, but simply showing support for his son and his teammates.

And that’s the reality – James doesn’t berate the other team and his top priority is supporting young Bronny and watching him compete. There’s no better feeling than when a kid looks to the stands to see their parent cheering for his or her team.

James isn’t using Bronny’s career to make himself relevant after missing out on the playoffs, he’s simply being the dad many kids would love to have and others should look up to.

He’s just showing love to his son, and if Whitlock wants to criticize him for clicks and attention, he’s about to find out how easily people see through those things.
