Watch: Tom Brady and Bill Belichick Share NSFW Exchange at Patriots Camp Over Botched Play Call
The New England Patriots have returned to Gillette Stadium for their training camp and the first misunderstandings between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick have happened. Belichick knows what he wants and is not afraid to let Brady know, but Brady sure shows that he’s no rookie and sometimes makes his own calls.
Fun period during #Patriots camp.@TomBrady and the offense wasn’t supposed to call run plays against the defense and Brady called one anyway.

Belichick screamed at Brady: “No f**king run!”
Brady then talked back at Belichick and @KVN_03https://t.co/cquXVazHBM
After Brady called a run during a scripted session for the defense in which he was only supposed to call pass plays, Belichick confronted the quarterback who didn’t remain silent and expressed his displeasure with the long-time Patriots coach, all in good fun.
After all, Patriots training camp is nothing new to these two, meaning they are comfortable enough to have these exchanges considering they are working to advance to their fifth Super Bowl in six seasons.
The greatest QB in NFL history will still get a profane tongue-lashing from the greatest coach in NFL history when the coach thinks it’s warranted https://t.co/xnm1Pb8Ivw

Brady doesn’t engage Belichick, but he also isn’t someone who would just tuck his tail between his legs.
They continue to challenge one another, especially after 19 years of working together which has led to seemingly boundless success.
During one interview, Belichick was asked what he values in his relationship with Brady. The Patriots coach pointed to the intellectual part of their time together.
“There’s some things that he sees that I just don’t see, and I think the reverse is true,” Belichick said. “I love football. I love learning about football. I think Tom is the same. I think we’ve learned from each other, and we’ve been able to grow together. I think it’s a thriving relationship that never gets old.”
