Julian Edelman Shares Important Message About Patience In Latest Instagram Post

Patriots wideout Julian Edelman injured his thumb in training camp. He will probably miss part of the preseason due to his injury, and he didn’t play in the preseason opener against the Detroit Lions.

We all know that Edelman loves the game, and he can’t stand the idea of being out of the field for this long. That’s why he shared the latest message.

The wideout shared a line from Christian author Joyce Meyer. It’s about patience, and Edelman has tons of it.

Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting,” he wrote.

Fans were so excited and they wrote comments of support.

“This will be the best season of our career! They think they’ve seen something, bro, they ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Edelman may not be part of the game but he sure supports his teammates.

“August 13, 2009. On this day I was able to achieve a goal I had set for myself at a very young age,” he wrote prior to the preseason opener. “To all the young guys out there who are taking the long road, I want to wish you luck. Keep pushing, keep grinding, keep improving and good things will come. Now let’s eat fellas.”

Edelman is more than excited about the new season. New teammates, new players, and a possibility to have Rob Gronkowski back on the field.

“I’m extremely excited for the new year. This is a new team. With training camp coming up, this is kind of like when school’s back in session. We had summer break. You get to see the fellas. But this is where you learn the team, learn (about) each other, become accountable for each other, and work hard together, and create a consistency together,” he said. “This is the beginning shape form of your team, these next few weeks. It’s a crucial point. We put a lot of hard work in during the spring. It’s the next step toward playing with other teams. So it’s definitely exciting.”

Let’s see how will things turn for Edelman this season. Will he be as great as he used to be in the 2018 season?
