Photos: Jon Bon Jovi Brings His Sons To Patriots Practice

Jon Bon Jovi visited the Patriots practice at Gillette Stadium on Monday, and he was accompanied by his two sons, Jake and Romeo.

The boys joined their father as he was talking to Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. They took a few photos with the GOAT and Julian Edelman. They took a few pictures with Patriots owner Robert Kraft, too.

Jake sported a Hampton Water baseball cap. It’s the name of the hit rosé founded by his father and older brother who played football for Notre Dame.

Bon Jovi is friends with Belichick and Kraft. He is a regular guest on the sidelines of New York Giants games during their 1990 Super Bowl Season when Belichick was an assistant coach.

“He’s a great friend,” Belichick said of the star after the 2017  AFC Championship.  “He’s been a great friend for a long time, all the way back into the ‘80s and we shared a lot of great moments together, including the 1990 Super Bowl in Tampa, when he was in the locker room after the game, taking crazy pictures and stuff like that. Great memories from there.”

The playing of Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” during the NFL playoffs is the Rite of Winter at Gillette Stadium.

Jon and his wife Dorothea brought Jesse 24, Jacob and Stephanie, 26, to the annual Apollo in the Hamptons benefit, Aug. 3 at The Creeks at East Hampton, New York. Kraft was there, too.

Belichick always talks about his friend.

“Jon’s a great guy,” he said in January 2015. “I love Jon. We go back to the Giant days. That was a great time for music in New Jersey with Bruce (Springsteen) and Jon and so Jon was a big Giants fan. I had a friendship with him for several decades, followed his music career, football career. He owned the (Arena Football League’s Philadelphia) Soul, he’s been involved in that aspect of it as well. He’s been a great supporter of mine, I have a lot of fun with him. Look, I like his music, he likes football, so that’s a good thing.”
