The New England Patriots are getting ready for their game against the Tennessee Titans. They are halfway to cutdown day, and we all know what that means.
There are 13 players we will pay special attention to Saturday night. This game will be of great importance for some players.
In the last joint
practice in Week 2 of the preseason, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady played two
series. If the Patriots follow a similar pattern this game, the quarterback
will keep with his plan to build rapport with the reserve receivers.
will have a lot of playing time on both positions. N’Keal
Harry, Maurice Harris, Julian Edelman, Demaryius Thomas and Cameron Meredith won’t suit up for this game. Phillip Dorsett is still questionable. Berrios will
have to try this game, because Josh Gordon is now back.
Dontrelle Inman had an incredible
performance in the game against the Detroit Lions in the preseason opener. This
game will be important for the veteran after his week of practice.
Gunner Olszewski is fast and it will be
great to watch him. Berrios is his biggest concern.
Isaiah Wynn has an increased workload in
training camp, and may return Saturday night.
Damien Harris suffered a hand injury, and
didn’t play against Detroit. He was active this week, and may provide great
rushing and pass-catching skills tonight.
The Patriots may use Lance Kendricks’s
Michael Bennett may make his debut. Is he
a difference-maker for the Patriots?
Shilique Calhoun had consistent playing
time with the first-team defense in the last couple of weeks.
Chase Winovich put Lions offensive linemen
into a panic mode, and he may be active in a few different spots this time.
Deatrich Wise has to improve a lot, and
has to convince the team that he is talented.
Byron Coward was good against Detroit, and
may be a good candidate for the roster.
Duke Dawson was excellent during Thursday’s
Let’s see how will the players handle the
pressure tonight. They will have to try really hard, because the Titans are
serious about their win. Game on, Patriots! It will be a long night.
