Julian Edelman Has A Question For Patriots Fans In Latest Tweet

Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is more than ready for the upcoming season. He’s got a new team on the field, and his recovery process goes perfectly fine. There’s no way that he misses the chance to win another Super Bowl. So, the wide receiver took to his Twitter, and asked his fans a simple question.

“Okay hands up who’s ready for football?” he asked.

Edelman has a few great reasons to be this excited.

“I’m extremely excited for the new year,” he said before suffering his thumb injury. “This is a new team. With training camp coming up, this is kind of like when school’s back in session. We had summer break. You get to see the fellas. But this is where you learn the team, learn (about) each other, become accountable for each other, and work hard together, and create a consistency together. This is the beginning shape form of your team, these next few weeks. It’s a crucial point. We put a lot of hard work in during the spring. It’s the next step toward playing with other teams. So it’s definitely exciting.”

The receiver spoke to The Hollywood Reporter’s Tatiana Siegel about the series he plans to pitch. This one will be focused on the beginnings of his professional career, and the times when the great Edelman had to fight for a roster spot.

“It’s going to be loosely based off the early part of my career,” Edelman said. “Everyone thinks that NFL football players are like the show ‘Ballers,’ when in fact, probably 65 to 75 percent of the guys are scratching for a roster spot. They are not known. We all have helmets.

“There are only a handful of guys that are known. When I was a rookie, Tom Brady was talking about taking a helicopter to the Hamptons with his supermodel wife (Gisele Bundchen) while I’m about to go to (an Irish pub near the stadium) and not be recognized. You know what I mean?”

So, we can only sit back and wait for the regular season to start. Are you ready for another Lombardi Trophy?
