Jamie Foxx Has Perfect Explanation Why LeBron James Is The GOAT

The GOAT debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan won’t end in near future. Some say it’s Jordan, while others claim that the kid from Akron is the greatest of all time. What does Jamie Foxx say about this?

Foxx said he had the chance to watch both players live. He says that Jordan had no competition, and LeBron plays in a sea of talented players. Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbook, James Harden and Paul George are talented and skilled, and LeBron is on top of them all.

According to Fox, LeBron built his legacy on his own. Kobe Bryant and Jordan played with a Hall of Fame coach. That’s another difference.

LeBron considers himself the GOAT.

“That one right there made me the greatest player of all time … that’s what I felt. I was super, super ecstatic to win one for Cleveland because of the 52-year drought. … The first wave of emotion was when everyone saw me crying, like, that was all for 52 years of everything in sports that’s gone on in Cleveland. And then after I stopped, I was like — that one right there made you the greatest player of all time,” King James told Maverick Carter, Randy Mims and Rich Paul during an episode of “More Than An Athlete.”

“Everybody was just talking — how the Warriors were the greatest team of all time, like it was the greatest team ever assembled. And for us to come back, you know, the way we came back in that fashion, I was like, ‘You did, you did something special.’ That’s probably one of the only times in my career I felt like, oh, s—, like you did something special. I haven’t had, really had time, to really, like, sit back and think, but that … that was a moment.”

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar believes that LeBron is the GOAT, too.

“He’s already shown he’s still the complete player that the Lakers wanted so I don’t think he needs to worry about that,” Abdul-Jabbar said Monday during a phone interview while attending the grand opening of NBA Experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. “They just needed to put the right pieces in place around him. You can’t win a world championship with just one elite player. You need some help and I think he has that now.

“If he plays well and the team is contending and in the playoffs and advancing late in the playoffs, that should be enough,” Abdul-Jabbar added. “He doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone, but Lakers fans are still hungry and that’s a good sign. They want to win and they want to support the team.”
