LeBron James’ ‘Space Jam 2′ Shoots at Home of Lakers’ Biggest Hater

The Los Angeles Lakers earned themselves a lot of enemies on their way to the top. They aren’t on the top now, but their haters are still here. Well, LeBron is filming Space Jam 2 at the home of his hater.

“The fact that I don’t root for the Lakers is something that doesn’t extend beyond the games,” James Goldstein says of letting the king make scenes at his gorgeous Sheats-Goldstein residence.

Goldstein is one of the world’s greatest Lakers hater. He likes to attend games and root for pretty much anyone who opposes the Lakers. Well, he was fine with having LeBron at his hope. We have seen the residence in The Big Lebowski, Charlie’s Angels and many other movies.

“You have to understand, the fact that I don’t root for the Lakers is something that doesn’t extend beyond the games,” Goldstein tells The Hollywood Reporter, explaining the reasons he had to let director Malcolm D. Lee temporarily use his tennis court as a basketball court. “I’ve known LeBron since he was a senior in high school — we’ve been friends for many years. I was very happy to welcome him here.”

Goldstein wasn’t on set that day, but he doesn’t mind catching up with his friend.

“The Lakers players, as far as I’m concerned, are friendly competitors. [It’s] just like playing a tennis match against your best friend. You don’t like them as the match is going on, but as soon as it ends the friendship resumes.”

Goldstein enjoys “life to its fullest,” and he is also working on some new projects at his residence. There’s construction on the terrace outside the infamous Club James.

“There’s going to be an entertainment terrace to complement the club. Once it’s completed, it will be a fantastic addition to the entertainment facilities that I already have. I hope that it will be finished by the end of this year.”

Well, LeBron doesn’t mind spending time at a hater’s home. It’s all about business, and he is really serious about his Space Jam 2 project. We can’t way to see it on the big screen.
