NBA Analyst Has Interesting Prediction On Davis-LeBron Success In Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t add Kawhi Leonard to the roster, and they are now focused on LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The New Orleans Pelicans were willing to do business with Jeanie Buss and Rob Pelinka this summer, and Davis is officially a Laker now. Both LeBron and Davis had a disappointing season, meaning they are off to something good.

LeBron got injured on Christmas Day and Davis got “injured” after filing a trade request. Both players were interested in sharing the floor and playing on the same team, and they are finally wearing the same colors.

Past season, LeBron averaged 27/8/8 and Davis has 26/12 to go along with 2.4 blocks per game. These two are playing their best basketball, and they will sure provide a good game next season.

LeBron and Davis are able to average 25 points per game, and analysts are already making predictions. Which superstar will lead the Lakers in scoring?

NBA analyst Chris B. Haynes says it will be David. However, he still thinks that LeBron will have an incredible season. King James may not lead the Lakers in scoring, he will be the primary facilitator and will provide a lot of assists passing the ball to Davis or his shooting weapons. The Lakers have added a bunch of these, so LeBron won’t have a problem in that area.

“I think Anthony Davis is going to lead the Lakers in scoring,” Haynes predicts. “But I think just from an all-around standpoint, leadership, determination, I think LeBron is going to bring it this season. I’m serious about that.”

Davis has done a lot of work this offseason to get to know his new team. He was working on his shot from range which makes him a powerful weapon for LeBron. Davis is a big player, and he may easily step out behind the three-point line and force his defender to abandon the paint or abandon him out behind the arc. In the first scenario, LeBron would be able to take his player one on one to the hoop.

This is an interesting prediction, and we are looking forward to see the best of these two.
