Rob Gronkowski Soon Plans To Reveal The Mysterious Announcement About His Next Chapter

Rob Gronkowski will never stay outside the spotlight, and people keep talking about his future plans. The retired tight end still makes headlines, and most of them are related to his retirement and the possible comeback.

But, it looks like the big Gronk won’t come back.

A public relations firm emailed reporters Tuesday morning. What makes this so special? They revealed that the tight end will talk about his next chapter August 27. The NFL season begins Sept. 5, so we are pretty sure that Gronk won’t announce his comeback.

“Rob Gronkowski appears to have scheduled a meeting with the media for 8/27 in New York City,” Henry McKenna reported. “Per a PR agent, Gronk plans to unveil his next chapter as he tackles new opportunities.

So, what will Gronk talk about? Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio has an idea.

“Some think Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski inevitably will return to football. On August 27, he’ll be making an announcement of some sort, but undoubtedly not an announcement that he’ll return to football.

“At an invitation-only event held in New York City, Gronk will unveil his next chapter. Given that both the email and an accompanying graphic use the term chapter, there’s a chance Gronkowski has authored (or at least co-authored) another book.

“Which reminds me of his last book, It’s Good to be Gronk. Appearing on PFT Live as part of the radio tour for the new release in 2015, Gronk was eventually given a chance to tell people why they should buy the book.

“’That’s a good question,’ Gronk said. ‘I don’t know.’”

“For now, we don’t know what he’ll be announcing on August 27. But the email announcing the looming announcement worked; it got me to write something about it.”

Will he announce the beginning of his WWE career?

“We have talked about it extensively,” Mojo Rawley said when asked about Gronk’s plans to try something new in the world of WWE. “Wrestling is something that he both loves watching, and that little bit of taste he had in the ring with me at WrestleMania a couple years ago with me got him all fired up. So, he’s ready to do something at some point.”
