Tom Brady Shares Photo Of Holding His Draft Card, Leaves Important Message

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has had an interesting week. Not only did he celebrate his 42nd birthday Saturday, but he also reportedly agreed to a two-year extension with New England.

The celebration continued in Canton in honor of the new class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame — including the signal caller’s former teammate Ty Law. There, Brady stumbled across something he hasn’t seen in 20 years.

Brady took to Instagram to share a photo of him holding his draft card from the 2000 NFL Draft with the caption, “finally got a chance to hold my draft card a few hours ago at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. Never forget where you came from ”

Take a look:

The card is kept at the Hall of Fame and serves as a reminder that there are no limits to what a player can achieve in the NFL. It’s a great example that it’s much less important where someone starts compared to where they end up.

Brady has always kept the chip on his shoulder after being passed up 198 times during that draft. Even now, after six Super Bowl victories, the quarterback seems to have found some extra motivation upon the sight of that piece of history.

Being drafted in the sixth round and now entering his 20th season in the league – only Tom Brady can achieve something like that. And he remains one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game with no signs of slowing down.
