Tom Brady’s Boston-Area Mansion For Sale, Enormous Amount Of Money…

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is making headlines these days. First, it was his contract extension with the New England Patriots, and then, he decided to put his Boston-area mansion up for sale. Should we mention the word “retirement” here?

Fans are confused.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the quarterback is under Patriots control through the 2019 season. That’s all. Yes, Brady can retire if he feels like doing so.

Brady keeps saying that he won’t retire in near future, but this move got us confused.

He is selling his 5-bedroom, 7-bathroom mansion located on 5 acres. Brady’s mansion has a rec room, gym, wine room, spa and an outdoor organic herb/vegetable garden. Let’s not forget that it also has a guest house with a yoga studio in it.

Sources reveal that the Patriots quarterback and his supermodel wife, Gisele, are looking for a place in Connecticut and New Jersey. Oh, yes, if you are interested in buying the house, make sure you have $39,500,000.

When it comes to retiring, Brady is very specific.

“That’s a Jay-Z song,” he explained. “I just like the lyric. It’s a general appreciation for every year you’ve got to come out and you’ve got to earn it. I don’t think anyone relies on what I’ve done last year or 19 years ago. I think it’s about what I can do for this team this year.”

He says the same thing in every interview.

“My wife is a very ambitious woman, and she travels a lot,” Brady said. “Just trying to divide some responsibility at home. She supports me a lot, my family supports me a lot, and my kids aren’t getting any younger. So just trying to spend the time with them when I can, and still get done the things I need to get done and be ready to go when it’s time to go.”

There was no chance that he misses the 2019 season.

“I absolutely believe I will [return in 2019],” he said on Westwood One Sports, per Mike Reiss of ESPN.com. “I know I’ve talked about it for a long time. I have goals to play not only next year, but beyond that. I’m going to try to do as best I possibly can.”

He is 42, and the game is deep in his heart.

“It will certainly be a challenge,” Brady added, per Reiss. “I don’t take any of these things for granted, but I hope I can keep playing, and I hope I can keep playing at a championship level.”

TB12 is madly in love with the game, and that won’t change in near future.

“I’ve been able to be in a career for 19 years that I love,” he said, per Reiss. “I wake up every day excited to go to work…fulfilled…I don’t think there’s any greater gift in my life than to have that. … In my heart and soul, I love playing the sport of football.”
