Watch: JaVale McGee Loses Battle With ‘Biggest Flying Insect’ In Hilarious Footage

Try to imagine seeing a 7-foot-tall basketball player fight a big insect. Hilarious, right? Well, Lakers center JaVale McGee had to fight a bug in his drive way, and he sure gave us a good laugh.

“Got in a fight today w the biggest flying insect I’ve ever seen!” JaVale said. “I know you guys are gonna say ‘your 7foot! Dont be scared of a bug!’

“Well this wasn’t some ordinary bug! This bug had timberlands on, and two cuban links… he was his own man and probably had a family to feed.”

Well, this was definitely funny! McGee even presented himself like a victim. You can’t blame a man for feeling this way about an insect. A big one.

When it comes to McGee, he was one of the few players to support LeBron James throughout his recovery period. If it wasn’t for his injury, the Lakers would have made the Finals.

“I feel like we (the Lakers) definitely could’ve made it to the Western Conference Finals and met up with the Warriors,” he said. “The way that LeBron got injured … we never got to mesh and blend.

“I feel like LeBron only needs, especially with the young guys that he has right now, is one All-Star to add to his roster, and he can at least make it to the Western Conference Finals.”

LeBron has words of praise for his teammate. These two had a lot of great plays last season, and LeBron had a few great reasons to get him on the roster.

I played against him in the last two NBA Finals and I wanted him on this team because I know what he brings,” King James said. “It’s his energy, his energy level, his ability at the rim and his ability to protect the rim. If you don’t have that on your team, you’re not going to have much, man. You need to have people with a high IQ, which he’s got. That’s why I wanted JaVale to be part of this. It is no longer a secret that the king lobbied the Lakers to get the champion.”

Guess what… Even Warriors head coach Steve Kerr likes McGee.

“He’s one of the smartest guys I’ve been around,” Kerr told the Washington Post‘s Adam Kilgore in March 2017. “He’s a techie. He’s got his drones. He’s always up to date on every new technological advancement. He’s got funny stories. The team loves him. The coaching staff loves him. Sometimes this league is about opportunity and who you’re playing with.”
