Anthony Davis Says LeBron James Told Him He Wasn’t Fun Enough for ‘Taco Tuesday’

Lakers star LeBron James and newly acquired Anthony Davis will have to work on their chemistry. Their Taco Tuesday chemistry.

LeBron and Davis are viewed as the most powerful duo on the floor for the upcoming 2019-20 season. However, LeBron says his teammate isn’t fun enough.

Davis said that the king of basketball told him that his energy was a little lacking for their Taco Tuesday video. The former Pelicans player made the revelation while responding to Twitter questions Friday.

“Taco Tuesday was great. … LeBron does it every Tuesday. I’ve been invited once. You know, he said I wasn’t fun enough, so hopefully I get invited back soon and make you guys laugh.”

Davis appeared in a Taco Tuesday video in July, and let’s just say he wasn’t as hyped as his teammate. Well, Davis better work on his Taco Tuesday thing, because his teammate is trying to brand the phrase.

LBJ Trademarks, LLC — one of James’ companies — filed to trademark “Taco Tuesday” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Aug. 15, records show

“The filing says the trademark will pertain to downloadable audio/visual works; advertising and marketing services provided by means of indirect methods of marketing communications, namely, social media; podcast services; and online entertainment services, namely, providing a website featuring non-downloadable videos, and social media posts in the field of sports, entertainment, current events and popular culture.”

“LeBron James leaves no potential business opportunity on the table,” Darren Rovell tweeted. “Over time, he has sought to own “Taco Tuesday.” He has now filed to trademark the phrase for social media posts and a show of that name.”

LeBron and Davis will play on the same team for too many Tuesdays which means that AD will have to get in the groove.

The Los Angeles Lakers missed the NBA playoffs last season, but they are really optimistic for the upcoming season. King James will try to stay healthy, and Davis is here to help him score. Kyle Kuzma promised to step up his game, and the other veterans will play their basketball. That should be enough for the upcoming season.
