Watch: Tom Brady Sends Message To Patriots Fans Day After Win In Latest Video

The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t have a chance against Tom Brady and his team. The Patriots started off their Super Bowl title defense with a 33-3 win over Ben Roethlisberger and his team. The Steelers are considered AFC contenders, but the Patriots have a better organization.

Brady went 24-of-36 for 341 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions. He spread the ball to seven different receivers, and the Steelers didn’t even get a chance to jump back in the game.

Roethlisberger went 27-of-47 for 276 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception. Brady couldn’t ignore this, and he sent a special message to Patriots fans.

According to Nick O’Malley, Brady has a straight A. “Brady picking about the Steelers defense is almost a running gag at this point. For Patriots fans, this had to be one of the best they’ve seen — because Pittsburgh’s defense was certainly a joke.

“Brady had little trouble carving through the Steelers’ zone defense underneath as well as launching some deep bombs over the top.

“There were a couple early hiccups. But this was peak Brady. Pretty good for a 42-year-old (the first at his age to throw for over 300 yards).”

The Patriots are now 12-4 in head-to-head games with the Steelers since Brady became a full-time quarterback in the 2001 season. They are 3-0 in playoff games during that period, and the Steelers’ win last year broke the five-game losing streak that started in October 2011.

The Patriots always stand in Pittsburgh’s way, and Sunday’s game shows that won’t change in near future. Brady always plays his best football against the Steelers and puts Roethlisberger in his shadow.

Head coach Bill Belichick outcoached Mike Tomlin, and the Steelers’ head coach made a few mistakes during the game. Some of his decisions are questionable, including the one he made with the field goal attempt from the Patriots’ 1-yard line in the third quarter while struggling with a 20-0 deficit.

“Whenever the Steelers face New England, and you watch The Patriots precision side by side with Pittsburgh, it really unveils the coaching truth w these two franchises,” Colin Cowherd tweeted. “Surgical v Sloppy. Tonight is downright embarrassing.”
