Watch: Inside the Patriots’ Locker Room After Their Big Win Over the Steelers

The New England Patriots raised their Super Bowl banner Sunday night. It was a special night for the team, and the Patriots celebrated with a win. The Pittsburgh Steelers had no chance against Tom Brady and the Patriots. Phillip Dorsett and Josh Gordon were brilliant, too. Every Patriot was brilliant in a unique way, and the team’s locker room celebration was wild. As usual.

“OK fellas, that’s a good start. That’s the way to play complimentary football for 60 minutes,” Belichick told his guys in the locker room. “Really good job. We had a good week of practice. We were ready to go. We played like it. OK? We’ve got to do the same thing this week. We’ve got to do that every week, and have good execution next Sunday in Miami. So we’ve got a big challenge ahead of us. Good job, fellas.”

Former Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe was there, too. He told Brady that he’s “the only one who gets to call you young around here.”

The team had Kyle Van Noy on FaceTime. Coach Belichick lifted the phone of the team for all to see, and everyone cheered for Van Noy on his baby.

Patriots celebrations are like this. Hopefully, we will see a similar celebration on Sunday. New England plays the Miami Dolphins, and Brady is well aware of the big challenge.

“This current team was focused on what we had to do to get to 1-0,” Brady said Monday on The Greg Hill Show. “It was a long week of practice. There was a lot to prep for, but we played a solid game. A pretty clean game with not a lot of penalties, not a lot of turnovers. It always feels good to start the season on a good note. 1-0 is a good place to be and now we have to get back to work right away and try and go down and beat Miami and play in a place where we haven’t had the most success. That will be a big point of urgency for us this week.”

The Patriots didn’t have much luck in Miami in the past two decades. Will that change on Sunday?
