Watch: Tom Brady Connect With Dorsett For 25-Yard TD

The New England Patriots are playing the New York Jets, and Tom Brady’s team won the opening coin toss. The Patriots chose to defer. The Jets picked up a quick first down on a 15-yard pass from Luke Falk to Jamison Crowder. However, the opening drive wasn’t as efficient as they expected. Flak couldn’t connect with Braxton Berrios on third-and-6, sending out the punting squad. This was the very first NFL target for the former Patriots wide receiver. But, Tom Brady and Phillip Dorsett connected for the first touchdown of the game.

The Patriots are down three key offensive contributors in James Develin, James White and Matt LaCosse. This was enough for the team to boost their creativity on the first offensive series. It covered 90 yards and led to the game’s first points.

New England opened with back-to-back completions to running back Brandon Bolden. He took White’s place in the Patriots two-back “pony” package with Rex Burkhead.

TB12 threw on each of the first eight snaps, and completed seven passes including a nice 41-yarder to a wide-open Ryan Izzo of play action. One of the passes brought the ball in the hands of Sony Michel, and he had a 5-yard touchdown that marked the first score for the game.

New England’s defense smashed the Jets on the second possession and forced a three-and-out. Jamie Collins has an exceptional play with an 8-yard sack on second-and-7, and a conservative play call on third-and-15 resulted in Le’Veon Bell being stuck in the backfield by Duron Harmon.

This game can easily go in favor of the New England Patriots. They took advantage of a short field after a Jets punt and drove 45 yards in just three plays to extend their lead.

Brady found Gordon for 17 yards before connecting with Dorsett for a 25-yard catch-and-run touchdown. Dorsett was wide open after the Jets’ linebackers got lured on a play fake to Michel. He caught a nice 25-consecutive regular season passes from the quarterbacks in his team.

This game is getting really heated, and we are waiting for the next touchdown from the Pats.
