Julian Edelman Celebrates 10 Years Playing Together With Tom Brady In Legendary IG Post

Julian Edelman and Tom Brady are celebrating their great game on the field. These two have worked together for 10 years, and Edelman took to Instagram to honor the big day. What’s better than posting a throwback photo?

Edelman posted side-by-side photos of him and Brady in 2009 and 2019.

“10 years and all that’s changed are the haircuts,” Edelman wrote.

We could notice Brady’s name in the comment section. He would never miss anything like this.

“Hahahaha I can think of a few other things that have changed, too,” the quarterback responded. Yes, he understand that completely.

Edelman still talks about the first time he met TB12.

“The first time I met him was my rookie year, 2009,” Edelman said. “We just came in after rookie minicamps and when you’re a rookie you’re carrying around — back in that day, 10 years ago — you have a six-inch binder. Now everything is on iPads, but you’d run around with a six-inch binder, get to meetings 10 minutes early. Guys are strolling in, you know, the veterans, 30 seconds before. Like, they know what’s going on, but when you’re a rookie, you don’t know.

“I’m going into a meeting and right into the doorway Tom, like, runs into me and he goes ‘Hey, I’m Tom.’ I like almost drop my book and I’m like, ‘Hey, uh, nice to meet you, Tom. I’m Jules.’ He goes, ‘Hey, I heard a lot about you. Excited to have you on the team.’ It was definitely a frightening experience for me.”

In one of his recent interviews, Brady talked about Edelman’s injury and the challenge his team faces regarding the receiver unit.

“Yeah, I think he’s still working towards some tests,” Brady said. “I think it’s probably going to work through it all week. He’s a tough guy. I’d say Julian — I’ve played with a lot of warriors over the years — Julian is certainly one of them. Football is a very violent sport. You can never take that for granted. When you do come off the field healthy, even when you lose I think the perspective I’ve gained is you still come out with somewhat of a victory if you’re not injured because it’s a contact sport.

“Julian, he’s tough, he wants to be out there, he’s going to do everything he can do to get ready. We’ll see how it plays out over the course of the week.”
