Celebrity Chef Accuses Antonio Brown Of Slander In New Court Documents

It’s a war. Antonio Brown and Stefano Tedeschi will solve their problem in court. The celebrity chef is now accusing Brown of slander. The whole thing started in July, and the chef filed a lawsuit claiming that the receiver owes him $38,521.20.

“[Tedeschi’s] complaint is nothing more than a fledgling action to promote the career of a chef who will use any attempt or frivolous claim to seek fame and/or fortune,” the document said.

“It is plainly obvious that [Tedeschi] … is simply wishing to force himself into the public eye through the filing of baseless claims against a notable celebrity.”

Brown’s attorney Darren Heitner, is requesting that the case be thrown out of court rooms.

“We expect to be filing a motion to dismiss the complaint and will let the filing speak for itself,” Heitner said on Aug. 14.

In February 2019, Brown hired the chef to cook for him and his entourage during the Pro Bowl week in Orlando. Tedeshi told the receiver that he charges his clients by the person. Brown expected 50 guests for the weekend. “I’m not worried about money,” Brown told him at the time. “That’s not an issue, you know that.”

While the staff at Brown’s rented mansion did their job, the chef overheard Brown saying “Get those m—–f—ing crackers out of here” and referring to women in attendance as “f—ing b—–s.”

The chef also said that there were several players smoking marijuana while Brown’s children were around.

The next day, the receiver found a severed salmon head in the freezer. Tedeschi planned to use in a soup, but Brown took the whole thing to a different level. He thought the fish was a threat used by the mafia and refused to pay the $38,521.20 owed to Tedeschi.

“I did not want to file a lawsuit,” Tedeschi said in a recent interview. “You’re a chef suing a celebrity—that doesn’t look good on me. Other people are going to doubt me now because of this. I tried every olive branch. I offered to come down and cook for him for free in South Florida after I get paid. Nothing.”
