Draymond Green Calls Out Durant in Comments of Instagram Photo of KD’s Family

Draymond Green can’t live without any drama, and he used Instagram to remind us of his thing with Kevin Durant.

Kevin Durant’s brother, Tony, shared a photo of the family and the new baby was in Durant’s hand. Green appeared in the comment section, and his comment was sort of passive-aggressive. However, it was a congratulatory message.

“You talked a lot of bullsh*t about me… all good doe… This pic brings me great JOY… however this is not the American dream… it’s OUR dream,” he wrote.

The Warriors missed the chance to win a title, and the end of their dynasty was accompanied by a lot of injuries and chemistry problems. Durant left the team in free agency and signed with the Brooklyn Nets.

The NBA world will never forget about his incident with Green.

“Kevin and I spoke,” Green said last season. “We’re moving forward. I think there’s no secret that I am an emotional player. I wear my emotions on my sleeve. I play with that same emotion. Sometimes it gets the best of me and it doesn’t work to my favor. I am going to live with that. Because it works in my favor to the good, as my résumé speaks, and this team’s résumé speaks, more so than it doesn’t. So I am never going to change who I am. I am going to approach the game the same way that I always do. And like I said, we will continue to move forward.”

Kendrick Perkins believes that Durant couldn’t get over the situation with Green, adding that it was one of the reasons that pushed Durant away from the Golden state.

“Kevin Durant never bounced back from the Draymond situation.

“I think the Warriors had a chance to sign KD back, but when that situation occurred—and the Warriors tried to clean it up by suspending Draymond—but they suspended Draymond and then about two months later, the owner comes back out and says he wants Draymond there for life. It’s hard to say they took him for granted, but I think he felt like it was best for him to leave. It’s hard to overcome that. Those were some harsh words.”
