Here’s Kevin Durant’s Deleted Tweet Responding To Magic Johnson’s Comments

Kevin Durant signed with the Brooklyn Nets, but he still talks about his former teammates and the way they handle the ball and other players. Magic Johnson discussed Durant’s comments, and it looks like the former veteran didn’t like any of that.

“I hope that he finds happiness. If you can’t find happiness at Golden State, where are you going to find it at?

“First of all, give Steph Curry a lot of credit for saying ‘you know what, I’m a two-time MVP, I’m willing to take a backseat because I want to win. Give Klay Thompson a lot of credit – because you know whose game suffered the most? [It] was Klay Thompson.

“…. Kevin, if you won back-to-back titles, you’re the MVP of the Finals as well. Where are you going to find happiness at?”

What did Durant do?

“Horrible take. Just regurgitated bullshit.” The tweet is deleted now.

Durant’s former teammate, Stephen Curry couldn’t ignore the comments either.

I mean, that’s tough,” Curry told Nichols.

“There’s so many narratives that go on, especially when you’re at the top of the league,” Curry added. “No matter how, you know, the full transition happens to Brooklyn, him separating himself from the Warriors — that’s gonna happen. I think he knows, you know, what we were about as teammates, what we were about as friends on and off the court. And again, nobody is gonna take away the accomplishments we had.

“But at the end of the day, whatever he, you know,

But, Curry doesn’t hold a grudge against his former teammate, and he is looking forward to playing with him on the 2020 Olympics team.

“I wish we could still play with K,” Curry said. “He’s an unbelievable talent, unbelievable person. We accomplished a lot together. But things have changed a little bit. So you obviously wish him the best, obviously with his recovery first and foremost and things on and off the court. But we’re gonna have to battle down the road. So this should be a fun, new experience on that front, too.”How will the whole thing develop for Durant?
