Hot Mic Catches Tom Brady Yelling At Referee After Intentional Grounding Call

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is all-in when it comes to playing games, and he would even yell at a referee if things go wrong.

The quarterback expressed his displeasure with the referees during the Week 3 game against the Jets. He was flagged after throwing a ball into the line of scrimmage and hit a Jets defensive lineman. The referee made the announcement of the penalty, and we could hear him say: “What?! He batted the ball down!”

The Green bay Packers quarterback talked about Brady’s greatness on ESPN Radio’s “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz.”

“Do you look at Brady the way we all do? Like, what the hell? He’s 42, what the hell, Aaron,” the host said.

“I do. I think I laugh with him a little bit when they replay some of the remarks, especially after that Chiefs game I think a lot of us remember from (2014) when the Chiefs kind of blew them out on a Sunday or Monday night and everyone was (saying), ‘This is it. Brady’s done. The Pats are done.’ You look at what they’ve done since then. That’s the beauty at times in this sport and playing, for him, at obviously such a high level. Sometimes you’re looking around and you’re like, ‘Man, maybe I need some inspiration this week,’ and having something like that to go back to whenever you want.

“People are just waiting for him to like regress, and it’s like, it’s not happening. Not happening. But the first time he has a game he doesn’t throw three (touchdowns), it’s gonna be like, ‘Here it is. Here’s the beginning.’ And sure enough, there’s a little more ammo for him to be like, ‘What you say? Oh yeah? OK, cool. I’m going back to the Super Bowl.’”

Do you know that the GOAT doesn’t like being called that way?

“I don’t even like that! I don’t like it. It makes me cringe. It makes me cringe. It makes me cringe,” he said in a post-Super Bowl Disney World interview. “I guess I take compliments worse than I take [insults]. I wish you would say, ‘You’re trash, you’re too old, you’re too slow, you can’t get it done no more.’ And I would say, ‘Thank you very much, I’m gonna go prove you wrong.’”
