Julian Edelman Hypes Patriots Fans For Week 2 In Latest Instagram

The New England Patriots made their way to Miami to confront the Dolphins. Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, Antonio Brown and the rest of the guys arrived in Miami, and the receiver hyped the Patriots nation.

The Dolphins had a terrible game in Week 1. Some players want to leave the team, and rookie safety Minkah Fitzpatrick is one of them. This goes in favor of the Patriots as they didn’t have much luck against the Dolphins last season. Moreover, they don’t play their best football in Miami.

Edelman played well in Week 1, and Week 2 will be even better.

“This is your captain speaking,” he wrote on Instagram. “The weather in Miami is a balmy 85 degrees with a 100% chance of thunderstorms and football.”

Edelman recently talked about Brown’s contract with the team.

“Coach is going to do what is best for the team, what he feels is best for the team,” the receiver said. “Adding Antonio, he feels that’s best for our team. Quite frankly, he’s a a really good football player. He works his tail off. He practiced this week. I think with a player like him, a player of his caliber, he’s going to raise the bar and raise the intensity of practice because he’s so good for other guys to see. He’s a really good football player and I look forward to playing with him.

“It’s not the first time we’ve added someone after the first week,” Edelman explained. “It’s not the last time we’ll do it, either. We have a really phenomenal football player that can come in and can help our football team be better.”

He suffered a thumb injury, but feels much better now.

“It was awesome,” Edelman said recently. “Anytime you go out and you get to compete with your team and get hit, that’s what you look forward to. That was then, and now we’re looking forward to the Pittsburgh Steelers and seeing what they’re gonna do.

“We did have a good amount of practice reps. You also take mental reps. Nothing comes easy, and any time you have to go out there and perform, you definitely have to had prepared well, and I think that’s what we’re trying to do.”
