Kevin Durant Broke Silence On LeBron James & GOAT Comparisons

Kevin Durant is one of the greatest players to join the NBA, and a lot of people will say that he is the best. Durant always makes headlines, and never ignores comments from both haters and supporters. The former Warrior likes to get into a thing with fans online. He even made burner accounts! The GOAT debate? It’s next on the list.

Durant got into a spat with a fan about the greatest of all-time debate. The fan said that Durant is better than LeBron, but the superstar doesn’t really focus on being called that way.

“When do you think you became better than LeBron? You know he gets compared to MJ constantly right? Do you think you belong in that same conversation???” the fan asked.

Durant’s answer was hilarious. “Everybody gets compared to everyone and no one will ever get the GOAT title outright, especially on social media so does it really matter in the grand scheme? Or do u just wanna argue real quick?”

The fan continued. “I think you are a top-10 player ever already, but you’d still be top-10 ever(in my opinion) even if you never won those finals. Do you think the casual fan weighs Rings too much? You could’ve won a ton of rings in MJ’s place on the Bulls, are Rings not extremely circumstantial?”

Rings?

“U wanna put together hypotheticals for every great player? I can make sure everybody has rings if we did that,” Durant responded.

His fan didn’t make a step back.

“I’d rather not debate ppl in hypotheticals at all though and that’s my point. Rings are a result of team performance combined with optimal circumstances,” the person continued. “You went to Golden State to have a better chance at winning rings right? What if you didn’t have to do that to be the GOAT?”

Durant’s final answer was the cherry on top.

“Being the GOAT isn’t something that moves me.”

That’s right. He has already said that hooping is his main thing, but people won’t leave him alone. Durant’s recent interview about OKC and the Warriors triggered an avalanche of reactions. He said he would never go back, and fans got a bit angry.
