Patriots’ Legends Tedy Bruschi, Randy Moss React To Antonio Brown Joining The Patriots

Antonio Brown agreed to a one-year deal with the New England Patriots. It was an unexpected move, and Tedy Bruschi was really cautions about it. Randy Moss shares the same opinion.

“My question to Antonio Brown, I thought it was always about the money, I didn’t think it had to do with football,” Moss said. “But since you’re with the defending Super Bowl champs, the greatest of all time as in head coach and quarterback, are you ready to play some football? … Every time, over the past month or two, Antonio Brown has shown up on your phone or any server, it has nothing to do with football.”

Stop all the Randy Moss comparisons, because it’s different, because I played with this guy (Moss) when he came in,” Bruschi said on ESPN’s “Sunday Countdown” on Sunday morning. “We had conversations when he came in, and it was all about winning football games. That’s what it was about. That’s what Randy wanted to experience. We experienced that. We didn’t finish the job in the Super Bowl. We didn’t get it done. But still, but still it was about winning football games.

“Antonio Brown is different, based on all his activity in the last year, it’s all about himself. It’s selfish,” he added. “That’s my opinion of his behavior up until this point. So he basically, by being signed by the Patriots, everything is important there: walkthroughs, meetings, practices, meetings after practice. Everything is important. Saturday walkthroughs — you’ve got to be there. You’re got to be present.

“He has to change. Is that possible? Can he change and be someone that can be reliable on a team that needs him?”

Brown’s tenure with the New England Patriots can go terribly wrong, but he can be excellent, too. The Cleveland Browns didn’t want Josh Gordon, and had a lot of trouble with him. Well, he had great performance in New England, and head coach Bill Belichick didn’t regret his decision. We believe that Brown will have the same luck with his new team. He is super excited about his deal with the Patriots. Tom Brady and Julian Edelman like him, too.
