Report: JaVale McGee Has Warriors NBA Finals Ring Stolen From Los Angeles Home

JaVale McGee is stuck in the middle of a huge problem. Getting ready for the upcoming NBA season is a top priority, but he keeps getting distracted by other problems. His most recent headache was caused by a burglar.

Sources reveal that a burglar stole over $200,000 in cash and jewelry from McGee’s home in Los Angeles, Calif., and one of his NBA championship rings is missing, too. He got it with the Golden State Warriors.

TMZ reported that the basketball player kept his valuables in two safes. In the safes, McGee kept his NBA Finals ring, goggles from the Warriors’ locker room celebration, some cash and jewelry. We can’t really tell if the ring is from the 2017 or 2018 championship.

There are no arrests at the moment. The LAPD don’t have a suspect in their investigation, but McGee’s security footage may be of some help.

McGee really hopes that this year the team will have more success than last season.

“I feel like we (the Lakers) definitely could’ve made it to the Western Conference Finals and met up with the Warriors,” he said. “The way that LeBron got injured … we never got to mesh and blend.”

The veteran had perfect understanding for LeBron James and the problems he had.

“I feel like LeBron only needs, especially with the young guys that he has right now, is one All-Star to add to his roster, and he can at least make it to the Western Conference Finals,” McGee explained.

LeBron has high opinion of his teammate.

I played against him in the last two NBA Finals and I wanted him on this team because I know what he brings,” King James said. “It’s his energy, his energy level, his ability at the rim and his ability to protect the rim. If you don’t have that on your team, you’re not going to have much, man. You need to have people with a high IQ, which he’s got. That’s why I wanted JaVale to be part of this. It is no longer a secret that the king lobbied the Lakers to get the champion.
