Report: RB James White Will Miss Game Vs. Jets Due To Birth Of Child

The Super Bowl baby is on its way! James White won’t join the New England Patriots in their game against the New York Jets for the greatest reason ever. His wife is delivering, and White would never miss that!

Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy didn’t play in the Week 1 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. His Super Bowl baby has already arrived. Now we have White missing the game for the same reason.

Players usually miss games due to injuries. However, White is missing the game for a good reason. The Patriots nation is happy for the running back. White’s family is expanding, and that’s a great thing.

This season, White has 111 total yards and a touchdown. With him out of the game, Sony Michel will see most of the snaps at running back. Michel has 36 carries for 97 yards this season. Rex Burkhead will also get a lot of work, and he has 13 carries for the season. Losing White may not be the most ideal solution, but there shouldn’t be a problem for the New England Patriots.

The 2018 season was great for the running back, and White was proud of with his contributions to the team. Hopefully, he will have a similar success this season.

“For me, I just go out there and put my best foot forward each time I step out on the field,” White said at the time. “It doesn’t matter if I have 61 receptions or 10 receptions, I just want to go out there and play hard, help my team get wins. It’s not really about the stats for me. I’m just trying to help my team.”

White is the weapon Tom Brady needs for his game. He had words of praise for the running back last season. They should have a good game this season, too.

“Yeah, he had a great catch, and had some good runs there at the end,” TB12 said of White’s involvement. “He’s just a great player for us. So, you’re right. He’s gotta be involved. Guys who can make plays are the ones that should be involved. And James is certainly one of them.”
