Tom Brady Identifies Team’s ‘Big Point Of Urgency’ Ahead Of Week 2

Defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 was a piece of cake for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Brady’s team is playing the Miami Dolphins in Week 2. We’ve all noticed that the Patriots play their worst football in Miami.

The Patriots are considered favorites heading into Week 2. The Dolphins played really bad in Week 1, but Brady still views Miami as a strong opponent.

“This current team was focused on what we had to do to get to 1-0,” Brady said Monday on The Greg Hill Show. “It was a long week of practice. There was a lot to prep for, but we played a solid game. A pretty clean game with not a lot of penalties, not a lot of turnovers. It always feels good to start the season on a good note. 1-0 is a good place to be and now we have to get back to work right away and try and go down and beat Miami and play in a place where we haven’t had the most success. That will be a big point of urgency for us this week.” 

He may be wrong about the Dolphins. They are in the middle of a big chaos at the moment, and we can’t ignore their 49-point loss to the Baltimore Ravens. According to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, some players want out.

“Per a league source with knowledge of the situation, multiple Dolphins players contacted their agents after Sunday’s season-opening blowout loss and directed them to attempt to engineer trades elsewhere. The players believe that the coaching staff, despite claiming that they intend to try to win, aren’t serious about competing and winning and by all appearances have bought into the notion that the Dolphins will take their lumps now in the hopes of laying the foundation via high draft picks for building a successful team later.”

This makes things really easy for the Patriots. They have Antionio Brown in the team, and we know that he is the best receiver in the NFL. There shouldn’t be any problem for the GOAT and his teammates. Let’s go!
