Watch: Rob Gronkowski Caps Star-Studded Patriots Banner Raising With Gronk Spike

The New England Patriots raised their sixth Super Bowl banner at Gillette Stadium on Sunday. The ceremony happened prior to the regular season game opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Patriots showed the world what it looks like to win a Super Bowl. We saw team owner Robert Kraft, Drew Bledsoe, Rob Ninkovich, Willie McGinest, Ty Law, and Martellus Bennett standing at midfield for the ceremony. However, Rob Gronkowski stole the show with his Gronk Spike.

Is there any better way of unveiling the championship banner? I don’t think so.

The Patriots are entering their 2019 NFL season as Super Bowl favorites. They have a really good chance of winning their seventh Lombardi Trophy. The team made some smart moves during the 2019 NFL Draft, and their summer was great, too. Josh Gordon is back with the team, and he already scored a touchdown. The team signed Antonio Brown, and it looks like they are complete.

Of course, we miss Gronk and his game, and we will have to get over it. He isn’t coming back. Brady knows it.

“He’s spoken on that quite a few times,” Brady told Jim Gray. “I think he’s very happy with how things are going in his life, and I think we’re going with the guys that we’ve got. That’s what we’re planning on, and that’s all we can ever do. It’s always his choice, and he’s a young guy, but that’s certainly not any of my thinking at this point.”

Many said that TB12 has the power to bring Gronk back with a single call. But, it won’t happen. Gronkowski has to recover from his injuries. He was in terrible pain last season. He may come back, but not this season.

“No, I wouldn’t say so,” Gronkowski answered on The Adam Schefter Podcast when asked if Brady can bring him back. “I’m truly enjoying my time off, truly enjoying what I found getting into business. I’ve got a lot of things dropping in the next couple of weeks, with my brothers [and] family. I’m really staying busy with it.”
