Gronk Leaves An Open Door For NFL Comeback During Broadcasting Debut

Rob Gronkowski enjoys being himself. The retired tight end keeps messing with everybody. Gronk tried to postpone his retirement, but his pain was too severe, and he had to leave the game. The tight end left the Patriots, but he keeps talking about his NFL comeback. Is that even possible?

Gronk is now part of Fox Sports, and he had his broadcasting debut prior to Thursday night’s game between his team and the New York Giants. This was the perfect opportunity for Gronk to talk about his comeback, and that was enough for fans to start talking.

We all know that Gronkowski loves the game. When asked whether he’d return to the field as a player, Gronk said he is leaving the door open.

“I would have to be feeling it,” he said. “Feeling it big time to come back. … I’ll always keep the door open.”

Well, he will have to adjust to his new lifestyle. I mean, is he even happy with the whole broadcasting thing? His teammates are on the field, finding the end zone.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining FOX Sports,” Gronkowski said in a statement, according to Pro Football Talk’s Josh Alper. “For the past 25 years, they’ve offered viewers top-notch NFL programming from the field to the booth to the studio. Their deep talent roster is unmatched, which was important for me as I embark on this new chapter in my life because I’ll be able to learn from the best in the business.”

Well, if you think he’d come back, sit back and wait for a while. His GF says they enjoy their free time.

“I think he is messing with everybody, then again he stumps me all the time so who knows?” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2019 cover girl said. “He could be pulling this out of the woodwork at some time. I would love to see him out there, but I am also respecting him taking this time for himself, healing up his body, and enjoying the time off.

“It’s been a fun time already, and I think one of my favorite things that he ever said was he was excited to take a back seat and check out the things that I was up to, like I have for him sitting back in the stands.”
