Watch: Bill Belichick Ribs Tom Brady During Locker Room Talk After Patriots-Giants Game

Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady have been working together for two decades. They have won six Super Bowls, and they will probably win this one, too. Belichick is really proud of his favorite quarterback, and he even ribs him once in a while.

Belichick was at it again, and this time he cracked a joke about Brady’s next record. It’s more than obvious that the quarterback hits milestones with every game he plays in, and Belichick was referring to that when he ribbed the GOAT.

During Thursday’s game, Brady jumped to second on the NFL’s all-time passing yardage list, and he passed Peyton Manning. That’s why he was the recipient of the game ball from coach Belichick following the match. The Pats shared video of the locker room celebration after the big win. The coach gave TB12 the game ball, and used the opportunity to crack a joke.

“Time to go after rushing records,” the coach told Brady.

Jokes aside, it was a tough game, but the Patriots pulled out an incredible win. I mean, 35-14 doesn’t seem bad at all. The team was brilliant in the second half of the game.

“Once again, I’m really proud of our football team,” coach Belichick said. “These guys came in after the Washington game, put a lot into it this week in terms of preparation and film study and went out and played hard tonight. We dealt with a few things offensively. We were just kind of down to one grouping there the whole second half. I thought Josh [McDaniels] and the offensive staff did a great job of managing the game. It was kind of an odd game. Anytime you get three scores in a game that are non-offensive touchdowns, that’s kind of a season’s worth and it all happened in one game.”

The Patriots are off to another brilliant win. They are playing the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Oct. 21. This gives them enough time to rest and get ready for the road game. Will they win this one? There are a few predictions.
