Tom Brady, Julian Edelman Hilariously Troll Rob Gronkowski‘s Broadcast Debut

Instead of catching passes from Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski decided to analyze his game on-air. The retired tight end decided to join FOX Sports, and he has already had his broadcasting debut.

Gronk’s former teammates, Tom Brady and Julian  Edelman decided to crack a joke on Gronk. They took to Instagram to share their opinion on their big buddy.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining FOX Sports,” Gronkowski said in a statement, according to Pro Football Talk’s Josh Alper. “For the past 25 years, they’ve offered viewers top-notch NFL programming from the field to the booth to the studio. Their deep talent roster is unmatched, which was important for me as I embark on this new chapter in my life because I’ll be able to learn from the best in the business.”

Tom Brady is confident about Gronk’s broadcasting debut

Brady was pretty convinced that Gronk will do a good job with his new role.

He’ll be good,” the quarterback said. “He’s been pretty good at everything he’s done. He’s — yeah, I didn’t know that. Good for him. Great opportunity.”

But, do you know that Gronk hasn’t put his retirement papers in? What does that mean? Maybe he plans to come back.

“We all love Gronk and I think the bottom line is, he hasn’t put his retirement papers in, “Kraft said during an appearance on the NFL Network pregame show.  “We can pray and hope. … I think that’s a good academic argument that there is hope with Gronk.”

Of course, this isn’t the case, and Gronk decided to clear things out. He won’t return in near future.

“I’d have to be feeling it big time to comeback, it’s always going to be open in my mind,” Gronkowski said following Kraft’s comments during his Fox debut. “I love the game of football, I love playing the game, I love being around the game. I even love watching the game … I’ll always keep the door open.”
