Patriots’ Josh Gordon Responds To Persistent Fan On Twitter

A lot of people like Josh Gordon, but one particular fan did everything to get his attention.

The fan wrote his Twitter messages under the name “@itsdomyoutube,” and he wrote messages to Gordon for 22 days in a row. Guess what… Gordon responded to him Wednesday morning.

“Tweeting at my favorite NFL player @JOSH_GORDONXII every day until he responds Day #22 Three weeks in and I am more confident than ever that he will respond,” the wrote.

“Sup buddy,” Gordon responded.

It was a short response but it sure means a lot for the great fan.

Gordon took to his Instagram account to deliver a message following his recovery process.

“If you fall, fall on your back. If you look up, you can get up,” he wrote.

It was a tough year for Gordon, but he is of great importance for the team.

“It felt good. Good run game, good ball movement, once we started getting in that rhythm things started opening up,” he said after one game. “We wanted to finish strong, most importantly, finish every drive. I think we wore them down, kept the pace, kept the tempo going and then something changed. It was great.

“When we get to this juncture, it depends on how we want to see things develop. In the second half, we were able to start the run game up, get the guys going in the run game and with everything else – downfield blocking, offensive line. Tremendous effort.”

If you ask Gordon, he will say it was a team effort.

“I guess that goes on [Head Coach Bill] Belichick, [Offensive Coordinator Josh] McDaniels, [QB] Tom [Brady], guys who see the field and they can make adjustments on the fly or second half adjustments, they kind of see it. See what the feel is for the defense, what we studied in practice, what has changed in the outcome of the game and making adjustments on the fly. We prepare for that each week and sometimes it works out.”

That’s what Brady says. He never takes credit for his success, and that’s what makes him a big star.
