Bronny James Throws Down First In-Game Dunk Of High School Career With LeBron Watching

Bronny has the best basketball genes, and he is definitely one of the most hyped high school players in the US. On Sunday, the boy played a preseason game for Sierra Canyon as they played San Gabriel Academy. LeBron James was there watching his son, and had the pleasure to see his son’s first slam dunk. It was an amazing spectacle, and everyone enjoyed it.

LeBron’s son stole the ball off an inbound pass in the second half of the game, and that’s how he got to slam his first dunk.

Can you see LeBron in Bronny? There’s something magical about genes, and Bronny has the best. He plays a combo guard, but he may easily change the position before going to a collegiate level.

The Lakers star is really proud of Bronny’s success, but he regrets giving him his name. LeBron said, “I still regret giving my 14-year-old my name because of that. Like, when I was younger I didn’t have a dad. So my whole deal was, when I have a kid, not only is he going to be a junior, I’m gonna do everything that this man didn’t do. They’re going to experience things I didn’t experience. The only thing I can do is give them the blueprint and it’s up to them to take their own course whenever that time comes.”

He still issued a warning for everyone, including those who will play with Bronny.

“Expect a kid that will play for his teammates,” LeBron wrote on Instagram. “Will work hard, pay his dues and when his number is called he’ll make mistakes like any kid but will be ready and coached very well. Someone who doesn’t care about rankings cause the only thing that matters is his team success.”

There’s a really big chance for us to see LeBron hopping alongside his son. The king would love to share the court with Bronny. It’s like a dream come true.

“I would love to see the floor with my son,” LeBron said. “My son is in the eighth grade now, if he continues on the path that he’s on right now, he could possibly be in the NBA in five or six years. That would be an unbelievable moment not only for myself but for my family, for everybody. So we’ll see. Obviously taking care of the body is number one, and we’ll continue to do that. “That would be pretty dang cool if I were able to be on the NBA floor with my oldest son.”
