Odell Beckham Jr. Gifts Tom Brady GOAT Hair Cleats After Dominant Win Over Browns

The New England Patriots defeated the Cleveland Browns, and one special thing caught everyone’s attention. Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. gave Patriots quarterback Tom Brady a pair of goat hair cleats after the Patriots’ win.

Brady gave Jets wide receiver Demaryius Thomas a gift before the Patriots win over the Jets last week.

TB12 stayed after the win for a good chat with Beckham in the halls of Gillette Stadium. The little Benjamin was right by his side. Patriots quarterback Stephon Gilmore and former New England running back Kevin Faulk joined the convo at the end.

Gilmore covered Beckham on Sunday, limiting him to five catches on seven targets for 52 yards. Beckham and Faulk played for LSU.

This happened in the same week Beckham said he dreamed of playing with Brady. The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, and the Browns are 2-5 at this point of the season.

The Patriots were long interested in Odell, even during his time with the Giants.

“The Giants were going to trade him, and I think they were really looking and listening to all offers,” Chris Simms of Pro Football Talk said. “You know what really stopped it, and I think this is what’s going to shock people. This is from everything that I know, of multiple sources, the thing that stopped the trade conversation with Odell Beckham Jr. is the team that was most aggressive in pursuing him, was the New England Patriots. The New England Patriots were trying to get Odell Beckham Jr. all last offseason.

“That didn’t work out, and I think the Giants got cold feet and said, ‘wait, New England wants him? Uh oh. Maybe he’s better than we thought. Maybe we should keep him on our own instead it being thrown in our face and him going to win a Super Bowl with the Pats.’ I still think there is a possibility there, they have weapons on offense, and I think he’s been a thorn in Eli’s side, and he exposes Eli’s lack of talent at this point in his career.”

However, the Giants didn’t want to give up on Odell. Giants general manager Dave Gettleman said, “We didn’t sign him to trade him.”
