Draymond Green’s Mom Suffering Through Warriors’ Mediocrity Sort of Says it All

The Golden State Warriors are definitely out of the playoff race. The team has zero chance of making the playoffs. Klay Thompson was injured, and he won’t come back this season. Steph Curry’s broken hand was the last bullet the Golden State received. Things are so bad that Draymond Green’s mom spilled out her frustrations with the 2019 team.

“I didn’t think we would be good but DANGGGGG I didn’t think we would be this bad! Okay, give me a uniform-PUT ME IN COACH! Okay I’m done love my guys-WIN OR LOSE! Wait who are these guys again! J/k lol”

She made sure that everyone recognizes her joke. But, we feel her frustrations.

“I’m done seriously! Just was having fun trying to cheer myself up!” Green’s mom wrote in another tweet.

Head coach Steve Kerr addressed the problems. He can’t say that his team will do great without Curry. No way.

“It’s been a tough start for us on many levels, so we’re just trying to find our footing,” Kerr admitted Wednesday. “This puts us in a tough spot. … It’s a great opportunity for these young guys to play, but it’s also a little bit too much. You want to bring along rookies as best you can and we’re just putting so much on their plate, but we have no choice.”

When it comes to other Green-related issues, we’d mention Durant again. The former Warrior told Stephen A. Smith that his thing with Green affected his decision to leave the Golden State. He said, “A little bit, yeah for sure. …Yeah I mean, your teammate talks to you that way, you think about it a little bit. Definitely, for sure, I’m not going to lie about it.”

In an ESPN interview, Durant addressed his beef with Green.

“I had to accept the fact that I was wrong. Draymond knew that he was out of line. As men, we talked about it and everybody around tried to get us to mend it fast because of the season and we wanted to win. But he had his process on how he wanted to handle it and I had my process and eventually we came together.

“Every day it was about my free agency. Every day was about my disposition as a player — what I looked like on the bench, what I looked like during the games. It opened up a lot of nonsense that could’ve been avoided. But Draymond and I talked about it.”
