LeBron James Could Dominate NBA After Longest Off-Season Since 2005

LeBron James is the best basketball player to ever play the game. However, his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers was horrible, and the king of basketball missed the playoffs for the first time since 2005. LeBron was injured on Christmas Day, and spent a lot of time on the sidelines. The superstar has three titles under his belt, and he is ready to after his fourth.

King James entered the NBA in 2003 as a first-round pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers. From 2006 to 2018, he made the playoffs every year, and got to the NBA Finals in eight consecutive seasons from 2011 to 2018. He left the Cavs to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, and the first season was horrible.

Well, LeBron is back in shape now. He is 34, but is completely healthy despite the nasty injury he suffered last season. His body needed more time to recover, and missing the playoffs was actually good for him. Sort of. LeBron had enough time to recover and come back stronger than ever. He had a really long offseason to recover, and here he is, getting ready for the 2019-20 season. Just to make things clear, LeBron finished 71 days sooner in 2018. That’s a lot of time to recover.

“It was a great summer for me. I spent a lot of time with my family and friends. Shot a movie, ‘Space Jam,’ that I’m truly excited about and will be great. I also got an opportunity to put a lot of work into my game,” he said of his offseason.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel is happy for his star player, and he can’t wait for the regular season to start.

“That’s good news for us and bad news for the rest of the NBA,” Vogel said of LeBron’s condition.

When asked about his approach this offseason, he said, “I ramped it a lot more over the last couple of months from late April to August and September.”

LeBron is no longer a top 1 name on charts, but he is ready to reclaim the throne this season.
